APICS certification is preferred. 5 years of experience in inventory analysis and procurement in support of Worldwide Distribution for Consumer Package Goods required. Hands-on knowledge and working experience with forecasting and data analysis, Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP software. Thorough knowledge of manufacturing operations, materials functions, and purchasing. Demonstrated skills in data analysis, forecasting and correlating analysis to business activity, organizing, planning. Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization Duties: Responsible for the thorough analysis to include the generation, maintenance, and analysis of data to recommend procurement quantities and inventory levels for all finished goods in a timely, accurate and pro-active manner. Provide support to the Sr. Director, Global Demand Fulfillment to ensure service levels of 90%+ availability for all SKU's. Execute inventory analysis, size profile maintenance, seasonal trend analysis and purchasing administration functions in support of inventory turns and working capital efficiency goals from business plan. Responsible for the administration of the forecasting processes and reporting. Accurately and proactively maintain, analyze and support all data and reporting systems required to support forecasting, procurement and availability reporting. Communicate all availability information to external and internal customers on an on-going basis as appropriate. Analyze inventory position and recommend optimal procurement requirements in a proactive and disciplined manner to ensure 90%+ availability for all SKU'S. Analysis must be timely, accurate and proactive. Recommend and execute corrective actions, communicate obsolete/slow-moving inventory for disposition. Responsible for execution of inventory forecasting efforts which includes but is not limited to: maintaining appropriate spreadsheets and databases and keep current with changing business plan.
